a while later...

we were instructed to remove his band-aids, rub the injection sites, and administer tylenol as soon as we were home. we visited gran so she could take care of the mean 'to dos'. i had had enough of torturing my son and i wasn't about to ask pete to join in the cruelities...

hi!
i remember taking a block-stalk peek when you were still expecting... if it's any consolation, I cried my eyes out when Alex had his first round of shots, I almost threw up when they brought out the needles, and I'd never heard a cry like that before. It broke my heart, but he fell asleep on the walk home from the doctor's office and was fine afterwards, I was the one scarred from the afternoon... at least they don't remember at this age.

jen, he is even cute when he cries. perhaps it pains you to know i thought he was cute, while you thought he was being tortured...but like c says, they don't remember at this age and you took care of him well!

Hi Jen,

You will survive! It is a horrible experience though. It feels so mean to prick your little cutie. He was adorable when he was crying, sorry. Can't wait to meet him.
