Bedtime!

Jack got new pjs this weekend - cars! His favorite! He's also brushing his teeth. Too cute.

first peanut butter +jelly sand-o

our doctor has said (on multiple occasions) that a child doesn't need to eat peanut butter...ever. but, i disagree. many people suffer from food allergies, but neither pete nor i (or anyone in our families) falls into that category. and i think peanut butter + jelly sandwiches are the BEST because they don't require refrigeration, they transport well, and are inexpensive. they are also a sure-fire snack or meal that most children enjoy - rather than banking on the restaurant having something your child will eat or that you'll be able to stop exactly at meal time, etc. so, with that said (and i have way stronger beliefs that what i'm actually mentioning), jack had his first pb+j. and loved it!

Jack dancing

To p.y.t. - michael jackson

Les and I heard the news from our little sisters today. I am sad, obviously. I have performed the moon walk just to embarass my siblings more times than any of us can count! We also waited all evening to see his videos debut on prime time - black or white and jam (?). More reflection later, this is a mobile blog.

proud parents

we spend saturday in chico celebrating david's semi-graduation from college. he walked with his engineering peeps, though he doesn't officially finish until december. mom, laura, and i made t-shirts of david's album cover and we all rocked them for the day. david was embarassed, but what's a costanzo event without making a poke at someone?

a little fun at work.

earthquake!

they are pretty common here, but this was fun because i thought my coworker was kicking the cubicle!

conversation:
me: **sigh**
mike: 'click'
me: grrrr.
mike: **sigh**
me: rough call?
mike: yeah.
me: (in head, you didn't have to kick the cub-i over it). 'wait, did you just slam the cub-i?'
mike: huh? no.
tyler: earthquake!
all: whoah.

i proceeded to research the strength and locale for everyone - a skill i mastered while teaching 3rd grade (earthquake curriculum). a 3.7 with an epicenter about a mile away.
