poor jack-jack

little jack had to get blood drawn today at his appointment :(. jack is a little underweight, and after introducing cereal and taking close note of his eating habits, we ventured to the doctor for a weight check. jack didn't gain as much as the doctor hoped, so he's running a few tests. the tests are just to confirm that there isn't anything else going on with jack that we can 'see' during his visits. he's not as worried as he was during our last appointment as he's seen how very active jack is! jack's been rolling around our house and scooting for toys. he is always on the move, ready to run we feel, so he must be burning more calories than a more sedentary baby. watch out for our little crawler in the near future!! uh, i can see the crazy days ahead...

teddy makes it all better!

Long time no see! How are you? I talked to Laura today trying to get a reunion together and she gave me your blog address. Congrats on your little boy - what a doll! It looks like you guys are happy and doing well. It was fun to see pictures of the girls from Armijo. Who do you keep up with? I haven't been the best with staying in touch - but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Save the weekend of Oct 10-12. I have no clue what we're going to do, but we're tentatively planning a casual reunion. It should be fun!

Love to hear from you!

Hey Jen, I feel for ya. Ben has had to go through quite the battle with tests because of his weight. We're still working on it even after our latest surgery at Children's Hospital in Denver. I hope Jack's is just as simple as being VERY active. Hey, can you send me your email address?

We so need to talk!! Mia is tiny too and I think it's cause she's so active as well! How much does Jack weigh? Mia was 12lbs 8oz at her 4 month check. (20th percentile) Our pediatrician is having us wait until she is 6 months to start foods...I think cause she is tiny??
