breakfast on the porch

we took advantage of the nice weather - and the morning hours before the wind has been kicking up - and had our breakfast on the porch.

pete cooked up some delicious french toast while i grabbed some fruit and set the table.  the kids had a great time (and pepper did too!):

the season is surely a blast!  seeing the improvement is absolutely amazing.  our shy little jack turned super aggressive (in a good baseball way) and will run from his position (usually short-stop or second base) clear across the diamond or out in the outfield if he sees a slacking teammate!  we are working on throwing the ball immediately to first, sometimes he basks in the glory of getting the ball a little long, and giving his teammates a chance to field it on their own ;).  he cracked a few great hits on saturday!

easter fun: cousin love!

i'm pretty sure i don't have a filter today, because i'm scheduling all these posts and each one has a bagillion pictures!  sorry, but this progression is hilarious.  and not ONE has all three looking and smiling.  i feel for you, lauren schatzel, you must have over a million pictures on your computer!!!!  three is just impossible!!

easter fun: gran and grandpa's hunt!

after our easter morning festivities, we headed to gran and grandpa's house to have brunch with rest of the gang.  we dressed up all cute and didn't even take a family picture!  we did get some good ones of the cousins, though, so that's good enough.  they're always the hard ones to photograph anyway, right?

here we are having a blast!  i can't get over the cuteness that is easter, so be ready to be bombarded with photos! wow, cousin pictures will have to wait for another post!
