The Rowl Bowl

We stopped in Pasadena to drive by the stadium and stumbled upon the float building! It was amazing to see the detail and shear size of the floats!!

Disneyland!!!!

At our within-walking-distanc hotel:
Christmas decor all around!

We headed straight to small world becaus ewe just knew it would be maddy's favorite (we were so right!) and the line is always ridiculous during the holidays.
At the time, it didn't seem like we waited that long, but seeing the hundred pictures we took tells me a different story!
Jack was overjoyed to share Disneyland with his baby sis!
We also rode Buzz Lightyear, the boys enjoyed Star Tours, jack and I rocked autopia and gadget's go coaster before an evening cruise through the jungle!

And the....the new attraction for all of us....cars land! It did not disappoint!! California Adventure as a whole was so much more 'Disney' with more decor, performers, and all-around magic!
The boys took a spin with Mater while maddy took a little nap.
Then it was my turn to hang with jack to ride a luigi tire ride. I really loved spending that hour and a half alone with my little man!
We had two day hoppers, so we went over the next day for pirates, the haunted mansion, andwinnie the pooh. It was a beautiful day!

We had a great time giving maddy a taste of Disneyland and experiencing cars land together for the first time! I'll admit, though, it was a trying experience. Keeping that magic alive was difficult because it was unvelievably crowded! I have never seen so many people there - we could barely walk with the stroller. I've experienced long ride lines, but you always had the option to walk around, take it all in. Not this time :(, can you believe that Pete and jack got separated from maddy and I and we were apart for almost two hours?? We were all located between Swiss family treehouse (Tarzan?) and the entrance to pirates!!! That's a really small area to get so lost in!
